According to Andrew Gillum, candidate for Florida governor has some explaining to do to his tax hike which will increase a 7.75 making it a $1 billon in additional state revenue.

From Gillum's web page  "The “Fair Share” plan calls for rebuilding our public schools, paying teachers a minimum starting salary of $50,000, investing in early childhood education programs, and investing in SHOP 2.0 and vocational training to help get workers the training they need for higher paying jobs."
We all know that higher taxes for the privet sector will be reflected on the consumer making basic products more expensive.

When Chris Cuomo on prime time pressed on the idea of a higher taxes he gave an unusual answer "we will need a confederacy of states" like that didn't happened before and failed. He does acknowledge the tax hike is not enough for his ambitious plan.
